Cardiology Consultation
A one-to-one appointment with a consultant cardiologist covering your full cardiac history, examination and risk factors. You receive a personalised written report and a follow-up plan rather than a verbal summary you have to remember afterwards. The consultation is £200 and there is no waiting list and no GP referral required, so you can self-refer directly if something has been worrying you.
Cardiac Diagnostics
Individual tests are available without committing to a package, each with consultant interpretation rather than a result sheet you have to interpret yourself. A resting twelve-lead ECG records the heart's electrical activity, an echocardiogram assesses heart structure and valve function by ultrasound, ambulatory Holter monitoring worn at home captures intermittent rhythm problems, and a full blood panel covers cardiac, metabolic and haematological markers. Palpitations & Anxiety
A racing or thumping heartbeat is one of the most common reasons people look for a cardiologist, and one of the hardest symptoms to untangle, because anxiety and a genuine arrhythmia can feel almost identical. Here both sides can be investigated in the same place: ECG, echocardiogram and seven-day rhythm monitoring on the cardiology side, and consultant psychiatric assessment on the other, without arranging a separate referral to find out which it is.
Cardiac Assessment Packages
Eight condition-led packages bundle the tests that belong together for a specific concern, rather than leaving you to guess what to book. They cover metabolic health, fitness, cardiovascular risk, breathlessness, hypertension, palpitations, syncope and chest pain, and range from £1,717 to £2,703. Each combines consultation, imaging, monitoring and blood work with consultant review and follow-up.
Psychiatric Care & Therapy
An initial assessment with a consultant psychiatrist covers your full psychiatric history and validated assessment tools, ending with a written diagnosis report and a personalised plan. Individual therapy sessions with qualified therapists follow, including cognitive behavioural therapy, anxiety management and mood disorder support. Follow-up review and medication management are available for people who need ongoing care rather than a one-off opinion, which is often the real gap in private mental health provision.
ADHD & ASD Assessments
Diagnostic assessment for ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, for adults and for children, using clinically validated tools with structured questionnaires, clinical interview, collateral history and a full written report. Twelve-month bundled programmes are available combining assessment with follow-up appointments for medication titration, and a joint pathway exists for people presenting with both together.

Meet Heart & Mind Clinic
Heart & Mind Clinic is a private cardiology and mental health practice at Health Village Esher, founded in 2026 by a team of senior clinicians and healthcare executives. It was built around a specific observation: that in private healthcare, patients with heart conditions were being cared for entirely separately from those with mental health difficulties, despite the two being closely connected.
Cardiology is led by Dr Sumeet Sharma, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Clinical Director of Cardiology at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospital, an MBBS FRCP cardiologist with over twenty years of UK clinical experience. The service runs from single diagnostic tests through to condition-led assessment packages built around a symptom rather than a test, so patients are not left guessing what to book.
Mental health is led by Dr Sanjay Garg, Consultant Psychiatrist and Mental Health Lead, who specialises in adult mental health including ADHD assessment and treatment, anxiety and mood disorders. He works alongside Dr Ekta Sharma, Consultant and General Adult Psychiatrist with over fifteen years of experience and a special interest in ADHD and women’s mental health. Between them the service covers psychiatric assessment, therapy and CBT, structured anxiety management, and diagnostic assessment for ADHD and autism in both adults and children.
The clinic is open Monday to Friday and accepts self-referrals, so there is no need to go through a GP first and no waiting list. The integrated model is the point of difference: if you are being investigated for palpitations and anxiety is part of the picture, or you have been diagnosed with a heart condition and your mood has followed it downwards, both sides can be addressed by clinicians working in the same place.
