Sometimes it is not clear why we feel the way we do, or why we keep repeating patterns of relating to others that leave us frustrated, lonely or confused. Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a form of talking therapy that looks at the unconscious processes shaping how we behave and how we connect with people. Susie Evea offers a confidential space to explore whatever is on your mind, working collaboratively and at your pace. She sees adults weekly in Esher, and every enquiry starts with a free fifteen-minute call.

Meet The Therapy Space
Susie Evea is a psychodynamic psychotherapist working with adult individuals in Esher and London Bridge, both in person and online. She is registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and the British Psychoanalytic Council, and completed a five-year clinical training with the WPF and the BPF.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a talking therapy that focuses on the unconscious processes driving our behaviour and shaping our connections with others. Recurring frustrations often stem from early experiences or memories that sit outside daily awareness. The work aims to bridge that gap, helping you understand how past influences, including formative relationships and significant life events, shape your present.
Susie supports people coping with a broad range of concerns, including difficulties in connecting and relating to others, experiences of loss, parenting, anxiety and depression. She also has a particular interest in working with adults who have ADHD and/or autism. Recognising that personal challenges are experienced uniquely, she provides a confidential space to bring whatever is on your mind and whatever emotions you may be navigating.
Her approach is built on the relationship between the two of you. The work is collaborative, following your lead and exploring at a pace that feels manageable, so that you always feel heard and supported. There is no right or wrong personal issue to bring to therapy.

How it works
Free 15-Minute Call
A short, no-obligation call to talk about what brings you to therapy and to ask any questions. There is no expectation that you go any further.
Initial Consultation
A longer meeting to explore how it feels to work together and to answer questions in more depth. This is a two-way assessment: it matters that the fit feels right to you.
Weekly Sessions
If it feels right, you agree a regular weekly session at the same time each week. The consistency is part of how the therapy works, creating a reliable space to return to.
Short-Term or Open-Ended
Susie offers both short-term and open-ended therapy. There is no fixed number of sessions, and how long you continue is something you decide together as the work develops.
