Ann Cassidy is a BACP-accredited integrative psychotherapist with more than sixteen years of clinical experience across the NHS and private practice. Meet Ann Cassidy Psychotherapy
Ann Cassidy is a BACP-accredited integrative psychotherapist and supervisor with more than sixteen years of clinical experience, practising at Health Village Esher and at Bank in the City of London. She works with individuals and with couples.
Integrative means she is not tied to a single school of therapy. She draws on several psychotherapeutic models to find the approach that fits the person in front of her, which matters because the same difficulty can need very different handling depending on who is carrying it. Her stated aim is to help clients move forward with greater ease and with greater potential for positive change.
She holds a first-class BA Hons in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Couple Therapy, along with specialised training in bereavement. She has also completed a four-year mindfulness programme and is a qualified mindfulness teacher recognised by the Mindfulness Association.
Ann has worked across both the NHS and the private sector, including as a counsellor for BUPA Psychological Services, as a senior counsellor for WHCM Forrest Counselling Service, and as a counselling lecturer at a South West London college. That range means she has worked with a wide spread of presenting issues and with people from many walks of life. Sessions run for fifty minutes, either for a limited number or on an open-ended basis, and are reviewed together as the work develops.

Common questions
It means Ann is not tied to one school of therapy. She draws on several psychotherapeutic models and chooses the approach that suits you, rather than applying the same method to everyone. In practice that makes the work more adaptable, because the same difficulty can need very different handling depending on the person carrying it.
