Nadine Schirmer is the founder and lead clinician of Aespect Health & Wellness, an independent nursing practice based at Health Village Esher. Nadine has been a registered nurse for over 25 years across both NHS and private settings, and qualified as an Independent Nurse Prescriber. Her practice is built around a simple idea — that many of the practical, day-to-day clinical services people need don’t actually require a GP, and can be delivered by a senior nurse in a calmer, more personalised setting.

The Aespect menu reflects this. Nadine offers ear-wax removal by microsuction, wound care and dressings ranging from simple wounds to complex post-operative care and leg ulcer management, suture and clip removal, blood draws using your GP’s form or private blood-test panels, cervical screening drawing on Liberty Health Clinics’ service, IV nutrition therapy, B12 and Biotin injections, medical weight management with the safe and appropriate use of medication, minor illness consultations with prescriptions where indicated, and Concentrated PRP therapy for skin and hair rejuvenation.

As an Independent Nurse Prescriber, Nadine can also issue prescriptions in her own right, which means that for many common conditions you can be assessed, treated and prescribed for in a single appointment rather than being referred elsewhere. Repeat prescription review is available for established patients, and where Nadine identifies a need for GP or specialist input she will refer you onwards including, where appropriate, to other Health Village practitioners.

She offers in-clinic appointments at Health Village Esher, virtual consultations by video, and home visits for patients for whom travel is difficult — particularly relevant for wound-care patients post-discharge and for older patients having microsuction at home.
