Meet Liberty Health Clinics
Dr Ferhat Uddin is a British Menopause Society-accredited menopause specialist and an experienced General Practitioner with 21 years of clinical experience. She founded Liberty Health Clinics to provide women with a safe, effective and personalised approach to menopause care — one that integrates the nutritional, psychological and medical dimensions of midlife health, rather than treating each in isolation. From the Esher clinic at 13 Church Street, she leads a multidisciplinary team offering menopause and HRT, medical weight management, sexual and reproductive health, and private GP services.
Dr Uddin qualified MBBS from the University of London in 2004 and trained as a GP, becoming MRCGP. She holds the BMS Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care, the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFRSH), and a Certificate in IUCD insertion. She is a GP appraiser for NHS England and a regular speaker at Epsom Hospital teaching sessions for GP trainees.
Her clinical interests sit at the intersection of menopause, sexual health, hormonal weight gain, breast cancer survivorship and testosterone therapy — areas where private patients are often poorly served by the standard NHS pathway. She practises in Esher in person and offers video consultations to women across the UK through Liberty’s online clinic.

Free Discovery Call
A complimentary 15-minute introductory call with the Liberty team (Ellie Lane handles enquiries) to understand what you're hoping to address and match you to the right service: menopause, weight, GP or screening.
Initial Consultation
An in-depth 45-minute consultation with Dr Uddin in Esher, covering your symptoms, full medical and family history, lifestyle, current medications and goals. Where indicated, blood tests and key vitals (BP, waist-to-hip ratio) are arranged.
Personalised Plan & Treatment
You receive a written care plan. If HRT or weight-loss medication is appropriate, prescriptions are issued and explained in detail. If lifestyle change is the right starting point, you leave with a structured plan and follow-up scheduled.
Follow-Up & Reviews
Menopause and weight-loss patients have scheduled reviews to fine-tune doses, check side effects, and adjust as your body responds. Email follow-up is included with the initial consultation.
